Seven Common Photography Subjects

From the first time the camera was used, humans have never stopped using it. It has always been said that we cannot turn back which is so true because what happened once may not happen again. It is probably due to this why most people take pictures whenever they can.

Pictures are a great way to preserve a memory. We snap pictures whenever we can, but there always those subjects that have become the most photographed subject.

1. Have you seen pictures of the sky? It does look amazing doesn't it? People love taking pictures of the sky above probably because it emits a fleeting feeling of peace and tranquillity. The color sky blue is soothing and the cloud formations will never cease to amaze you. It does not happen all the time, but there are instances when the clouds arrange themselves to form a bear, a heart or even a rising sun between mountains. These rare events are the likely reasons why people look up and snap pictures.

2. When you go nature tripping you can't really resist the urge to snap a picture. It is true that nature is a great artist. If you have a great eye, you will surely notice these spots. Most people when they reach the peak of a mountain usually take pictures of the view below, while those who go river trekking usually take pictures of the clear water, the rushing stream or the water falls.

3. For those with more experience, they usually go underwater to take snap pictures of the creatures living down there. Not all of us are able to go beneath the sea and mingle with the fishes and other sea creatures, but with underwater photography we are given the chance to see for ourselves the beauty of the world beneath the waters.

4. Can you resist snapping pictures of dolphins and great whites coming out of the water to catch a fleeting bird? Of course not, since it is not all the time that we are given this chance to witness a real life predator and prey scenario. Beside dolphins and sharks, penguins are great photography subjects too because people will be eager to see them due to the fact that they can only be found in really cold places.

5. Who can ignore the adorable animals that live close to us? Animal photography is on a rampage. People with great skill can even coax their beloved pets to pose for them. The animals that are mostly photographed are the dogs, cats, birds, lions, tigers and a whole lot more.

6. When we attend a special occasion we make sure that we always have a camera on hand because this occasion may not happen again. Some occasions may take place only once like weddings, debuts, baptisms and graduation parties while others take place once a year such as birthdays, anniversaries and holiday parties.

7. Each year you grow older and each year something new takes place. If you take a self portrait every year, who can blame you; we are only young once. Plus, it would be fun to have something to look back to; something to share to your kids and then to your grandchildren.

It may only be a photograph but rest assured it will touch more than one life and bring joy to more than one person.
