For supermodels, picture taking sessions and photo shoots made everyday is nothing out of the ordinary as they make their living posing in front of the camera until they make that perfect shot fit enough to make the front cover of a fashion and lifestyle magazine. Movie stars on the other hand, can get fed up and tired of photographs as numerous and typically unwelcome paparazzi can follow them wherever they go and whatever time of day just to get a shot of their famous selves.

However, for the typical ordinary male and female, a day of taking pictures happens normally only during those special family occasions. Here are a few of those occasions in which the family is celebrated and definitely, a lot of pictures are taken.

Let us not forget the father of the bride. If you make the right angle, you may be able to catch Dad shedding a tear or two as he brings his beautiful daughter to meet the man who will take her away from daddy's grasp; the man she will spend the rest of her life with.

And the events of the wedding program are definitely not to be missed with pictures. You start with the prenuptial romantic shots. You move on to the ceremony itself and the joyful reception follows. At weddings, you are bound to capture shots of love, happiness, joy, family and a whole lot of celebration.

* Family reunions. With the way lifestyles are today, it is not surprising to find out that most families are actually living apart. Some are a few miles away. Others may be a country or even a continent far off. With all of this distance, there can be nothing more special than a reunion, an occasion where families can finally get together and get in touch with each other's lives once again.

And to memorialize these affairs, pictures are a must. Pictures in this case not only capture a family's moments of being together, they are also the things that families can take home to remind them once in a while of their loved ones from far and away.
